Partner Onboarding Guide
Mobilife’s partner‑focused onboarding process makes it easy for property owners to list their rental spaces and accept mid‑term bookings. The following guide summarises each step, from signing up through to managing booking requests.
1. Sign up and identity verification
To create a partner account:
- Choose a user type – navigate to Sign up, select Partner from the user type dropdown and complete your contact details. You’ll need to enter your email, first and last name, display name, password and phone number.
- Upload an identity document – Mobilife requires a JPG, PNG or PDF (up to 25 MB) of a valid government‑issued ID to verify your identity to list properties. Drag and drop your document into the Upload ID document area.
- Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and click Sign up. After submitting the form, Mobilife sends a welcome email containing an activation link. You must verify your email address before proceeding.
- Await approval – once your identity document is reviewed, the Mobilife team will grant posting rights to your account. You’ll receive a notification when you’re approved to post a new listing.
2. Set up payout and account details
Before publishing listings, partners must set up a Stripe connected account so Mobilife can process payouts:
- Navigate to Account settings → Payout details. You will see your account type, country and masked bank account details when the setup is complete.
- Mobilife uses Stripe’s onboarding flow to collect your banking information and verify your identity. Follow Stripe’s instructions to provide your bank account and complete the connected account agreement.
Once Stripe has verified your details, the dashboard will indicate that your Stripe account is up to date.
3. Post a new listing
After your account is approved and payment details are set, you can create a property listing. Mobilife guides you through several steps via a sidebar navigation (Details → Location → Pricing → Availability → Photos).
3.1 Listing details
- Category & sub‑category – select the type of property (Apartment, Townhouse or House) and choose a sub‑category such as Studio, 1‑Bedroom Apartment or 2‑Bedroom Apartment. The sub‑category ensures Users see relevant search results.
- Basic information – provide a descriptive listing title and a detailed description to highlight key features. Please make sure to include a valid STRA Property ID.
- Property attributes – specify whether the property is furnished or unfurnished, the maximum number of occupants and the facilities available (air conditioning, balcony, parking, etc.). Additional fields allow you to indicate nearby transport options, utilities included and languages spoken.
3.2 Location
Enter the initial part of your property address to identify suggested Google Map directory address. There are separate fields for apartment or suite number.
3.3 Pricing
Mobilife uses flexible pricing that automatically calculates daily and monthly rates based on your weekly price:
- Price per week – enter your preferred weekly rent. The system then derives a daily and monthly rate to provide consistent pricing across different stay durations.
- Cleaning fee – optionally add a one‑off cleaning charge per booking.
- Add‑ons – you can create additional services or amenities (e.g., parking, equipment hire) and specify per‑stay fees. Users can choose these extras when booking.
3.4 Availability
Set when the property is available for booking:
- Default weekly schedule – click Set default schedule to tick which days of the week the property is generally available. Currently you must select Monday–Sunday manually; Mobilife plans to have all days selected by default and simply allow exceptions.
- Availability exceptions – after saving the default schedule, the calendar shows upcoming dates marked as Available. Click Add an availability exception to mark a range of dates as either Available or Not available. This lets you block out periods for maintenance or personal use.
3.5 Photos and publishing
Upload high‑quality photos of the property (JPG or PNG up to 20 MB each). Mobilife recommends 5–10 images taken from different angles. Once at least one photo is uploaded, the Publish listing button will be enabled. Submit the listing for your own review, and Users are able to see the listing immediately.
After publishing, your listing appears in the Your listings section. Use the three‑dot menu on each listing to edit details, adjust availability or close the listing when it is no longer offered.
4. Managing booking requests
Mobilife notifies you by email whenever a User requests to book your property. You can also view and manage requests in the Inbox → As a listing author tab. Each request shows the User name, stay dates and current status (e.g., Pending, Accepted, Declined). Click a request to review the booking details and choose to Accept or Decline. Accepted bookings will automatically block those dates on your calendar.
Following these steps ensures that your property is accurately represented and ready to accept bookings. For further assistance, check the Help Centre or contact Mobilife support.
