Getting Started
Welcome to Mobilife – your platform for listing mid-term rental properties, ideal for students and professionals visiting Australia. This guide will help you get started as a property partner.
1. Signing Up and Verifying Your Identity
2. Listing Your Rental Property
3. Managing Booking Requests
1. Signing Up and Verifying Your Identity
To begin listing on Mobilife, first create your Partner account:
- Click “Sign Up” on the top right of the homepage and choose the option to register as a Partner.
- Use your email address with personal details to create an account.
- Once registered, we require you to submit a valid identity document (e.g. Passport or Australian drivers license) to ensure trust and security for all users.
Verification is typically completed within 1–2 business days.
2. Listing Your Rental Property
Once your account is verified, you can start creating your property listing. Mobilife focus on entire apartments or studios — not individual rooms — that are clean, secure, and ready for mid-term stays.
To create a listing:
- Go to your dashboard and select “Post a New Listing.”
- Provide accurate and detailed information, including:
- Property category and address
- Price (Weekly rent)
- Available dates for booking
- House rules and inclusions (e.g. furnishings, utilities or internet if any)
- Upload at least 5 high-quality photos showing each room and key amenities. Listings with clear, well-lit photos are more likely to receive bookings.
Listings can be edited anytime via your dashboard. Make sure your availability calendar is up to date.
3. Managing Booking Requests
When a user sends a booking request, you will receive a notification via email and on your dashboard. You will have the option to:
- Accept the request to proceed with the booking.
- Decline if the property is unavailable or unsuitable for the applicant.
If you don’t respond within 48 hours, the request will automatically expire.
Once you accept a booking:
- The user’s payment including first two week’s rent and other fees are preauthorised. This is charged and transferred to property partner after successful move-in.
- You can prepare the property in the reasonable state for move-in, so the user can come in any time of the booking start date (unless specific check-in time is agreed).
- Mobilife holds a security deposit as preauthorised on the user's payment method as protection against potential damages.
