Getting Started

Mobilife is designed to help you find flexible, furnished or unfurnished mid-term accommodation in Australia with ease and transparency. Whether you are an international student, professional, or new arrival, this guide will walk you through the initial steps to start your journey with us.

1. Signing Up and Verifying Your Identity
2. Setting Up Your Profile
3. Booking Process

1. Signing Up and Verifying Your Identity

To begin using Mobilife, you will need to create an account. You can sign up using your email address or a supported social login. Once registered, you will be asked to verify your identity by uploading a valid passport scan. This verification step helps protect both users and partners by ensuring all bookings are made by verified individuals. It also allows you to create a booking request in the platform.

Ensure your passport scan is clear, unexpired, and matches the name on your profile.

2. Setting Up Your Profile

After signing up, it is important to complete your user profile before making a booking request. Partners rely on your profile to decide whether to approve your stay.

Include the following in your profile:

  • A clear profile photo
  • Brief self-introduction (who you are, why you are visiting, your occupation or student status)
  • Duration of intended stay and lifestyle preferences (e.g., smoking, pets, guests)

A well-prepared profile improves your chances of getting your request accepted and builds trust with partners. A complete profile shows you are a serious and reliable guest.

3. Booking Process

Mobilife uses a request-based booking system, meaning you submit a booking request, and the partner (property owner) reviews and accepts it.

Here is how it works:

  1. Browse Listings – Use filters to find properties that meet your needs.
  2. Submit a Booking Request – Choose your preferred dates and send your request. Mobilife will preauthorize and hold the first two week’s rent and security deposit to check credit card validity.
  3. Wait for Partner Response – Partners typically respond within 24–48 hours.
  4. Booking Confirmed – Once partner accepts, your booking is locked in, and you will receive further communication about move-in.

You can always message the partner before or after sending a booking request to clarify details.
